Blue Ocean Heater P features
The very compact Wientjens Blue Ocean Heater P allows you heat laundry process water with very high efficiency.

98% efficiency means that 98% of the gas used is transformed into usable heat, no other losses
Point-of-use means the heater is close to where the hot water is required, no heat loss from long pipework.
On-demand means the heater only operates when hot water is needed by the batch tunnel washer
Modulating means that the heater dynamically adapts the power used to the amount of hot water needed, 1:4, no overkill
These points all add up to big process flexibility, a heater which gives the hot water you need, when and where you need it, no needless waste of energy or money.

The Blue Ocean Heater P improves the finished quality of your textiles, less rewash.
Solid particles such as fibres, hairs and sand are removed from process water using the deep filtration function of the Blue Ocean Heater P. Cleaner process water means improved finished quality.
Blue Ocean Heater P deep filtration is done inline, a closed loop. Hygiene is uncompromised.

Emissions - advanced combustion technology means maximum NOx emissions of the Blue Ocean Heater P are only 26 mg/m3, which is classed internationally as ‘very low’.
Carbon intensity - the CO2 footprint of the Blue Ocean Heater P is low because 98% system efficiency means very low losses in the energy transfer from gas to heated water.
System efficiency - system efficiency for a gas-fired water heater is higher than for steam or electricity powered system (unless electricity from renewable sources is used).
Grid efficiency averages only 35% for coal-fired plants and around 50% for gas-fired plants. Using electricity generated from gas is more wasteful than using gas to heat water directly using a high efficiency appliance.
While gas remains, of course, a fossil fuel, it nonetheless offers a highly practical, low cost, relatively sustainable way to heat laundry process water.
